I was born and raised in Bryan/College Station, and one of the few people raised an Aggie to not attend A&M! For me, my love was music, and I knew A&M wasn't the place for that. However, I still bleed maroon :) I traveled a little ways down the road and attended Sam Houston State University. Go Bearkats! There I studied voice, piano, orchestral families, and many other exciting music classes such as Theory, vocal pedagogy, and structure/analysis! While at SHSU I was involved in a sorority (Alpha Chi Omega) for all four years, and I'm now an alumni of the sorority. I was involved in the Opera program at SHSU, and performed arias from Pirates of Penzance, The Medium, Gianni Schicchi, La Boheme, and many more. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have one beautiful one year old daughter.
